We are pleased to announce that our project partner, the University of Eastern Finland, will participate in the Fifteenth Japan-Finland Joint Symposium on Optics in Engineering (OIE’25), which will be held from January 6 to 9, 2025, in Levi, Finland.

As part of the event and its organizers, they will deliver an oral presentation titled:

“Raman spectroscopic characterization and quantification of brominated flame retardants (BFRs) in plastics”, Presented by Mahtab Ashraf et al.

This presentation, based on the MSc thesis work of Mahtab Ashraf, focuses on Raman spectroscopic techniques for characterizing and quantifying brominated flame retardants (BFRs) in plastics. This technology is a key component of the PRIMUS Project, advancing our shared goals of developing innovative and sustainable solutions in materials science. Members of our Industrial Community will have exclusive access to this presentation, which is now available on the Industrial Site section of our website.
