The 7th of November, PRIMUS partners from VTT travelled to Rimini, Italy, to attend the ECOMONDO 2023 conference. 4th Consortium Meeting in Berlin
Greendelta organised the 4th face-to-face Consortium Meeting in Berlin During October 26th and 27th, PRIMUS partners met in Berlin, Germany, for the 4th Consortium Meeting. It has been an excellent opportunity to meet after the previous Consortium Meeting held in May. Hello PRIMUS community, October 5th we organized the third chapter of our webinar series BOOSTING PLASTIC RECYCLING, dedicated to Plastic Sampling Processes and Outcomes. We carried out the webinar with two project partners, Mathilde Taveau from Plastics Recyclers Europe and Jarkko J. Saarinen from the University of Eastern Finland. Plastic Waste to Product Interface Webinar
Hello again PRIMUS community, The 27th of September 2023 we carried out an enlightening webinar and practical workshop on Plastic Waste to Product Interface, with our project coordinator, Anna Tenhunen-Lunkka and the PRIMUS regulatory Work Package leader Mathilde Taveau. PRIMUS attendance in recent events by UEF
Hello community, We are passing by to share that our partners from the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) have recently presented the findings from the PRIMUS project in two important events during the summer. PhD Ville Nissinen and professor Janne Jänis travelled to Houston, United States to attend the ASMS 71st Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics, held from June 4th to 8th. VTT Active Hyperspectral Sensor explained
Check out our latest video! One of the big challenges in plastic recycling is the quality control of recycled plastic. The degradation degree of the plastic - mainly caused by weathering and exposure to UV (solar) radiation - affects its properties, and may render the plastic unusable. In the PRIMUS project, we are utilizing the novel VTT Active Hyperspectral Sensor (AHS) to sort the recyclable from non-recyclable plastic waste pieces according to their degradation degree.
